Our Maritime practice, involves an array of contentious maritime issues from charterparty and bill of lading disputes and litigation, review of Marine Insurance contracts, representing various P&I Clubs, collision, salvage and wreck removal cases, international trade disputes and specialised in non-contentious areas of ship building, ship finance and sale & purchase as well. We provide a “one-stop-shop” service to ship and cargo owners, to Charterers and freight forwarders which include everything from our 24-hour marine emergency service to thoroughly drafting and revising all contracts to prevent liabilities and risks before they arise. Our shipping lawyers work in close cooperation with experienced local lawyers on shipping litigation matters in Dubai, and our international shipping litigation is carried out via our worldwide network whilst the matter always remains under our close supervision.

Future Projects:
Fichte & Co in conjunction with the German Chamber of Commerce & the German Office for Foreign Trade are publishing an Investor Information Book in order to assist potential German investors in setting up in the UAE. We are also looking to publish the same in other European languages like Dutch, Italian and Danish and have the same distributed through the various trade councils in UAE and abroad.
